SIGN WAREHOUSE EXPANDS IN NEW LOCATION

PRESS RELEASE
DENISON DEVELOPMENT ALLIANCE

SignWarehouse.com and Denison Development Alliance (DDA) officials announced today the completion of the relocation of SignWarehouse.com from their Sherman location to the former ConAgra facility (85,000 square feet) located on Highway 84 in Denison.  In June of 2003, the two parties signed a ten year lease agreement allowing DDA to purchase the land and building and make $1.8 million in building modifications and improvements.  The renovation was completed on May 25, 2004.

“Every business has options and we knew SignWarehouse was looking for a larger facility.  Our mission was to work closely with them, the City of Sherman and the SEDCO Board to find the most cost effective solution to their expansion needs,” said Jerdy Gary, Chairman of DDA. “ In this case Denison had a vacant, available building that met their criteria so we were able to partner with Sherman and SignWarehouse and keep current and future jobs in Grayson County,” he added.

"We are extremely excited that our company's growth has made this expanded facility a requirement," said Eric Gripp, SignWarehouse President.  “Our site location specialist spent 12 months analyzing all options in the Texoma region, including Oklahoma.  In the end, the former Beatrice Building emerged as the best location for us.  We are extremely appreciative of all the support we received from the leadership in both Sherman and Denison.  These two communities worked together to find the best location for our company and our employees.” "The need for expansion is to increase our warehouse space to accommodate the large inventory of cutters/plotters, printers, and computer systems that SignWarehouse maintains and to provide more room for growing technical support staff,” Gripp added.

Founded in 1982, Grayson Business Computers, Inc. d/b/a SignWarehouse is a direct source of quality sign making products, including color printers, vinyl cutters, sign design software, and production supplies.  They are recognized names among the world’s sign design professionals making a profound difference in the way sign makers purchase equipment, software, and supplies.
